Background
My name is Nathaniel Metzger, but most people call me Nate. I am from Wapakoneta, Ohio which is the birthplace of Neil Armstrong. I graduated from Wapakoneta Senior High School in 2021 with Summa Cum Laude honors. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
Activites and Clubs
I have been a swimmer since the age of 6. During my senior year, our 200 free relay placed 2nd at the annual state meet. I also ran Cross Country during high school. While I do not swim or run competitively in college, I do swim recreationally from time to time and like to play ultimate frisbee with my friends.
Currently, I participate at a food shelter in my hometown during weekends. I also am a member of the Bell Choir at my church.
Future Plans
Ever since I can remember, I have always had high goals that I am constantly pursing.
I currently plan on graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering by 2026. Along with my major, I am working towards a minor in Software Development.
I have enjoyed developing web application over the course of my co-ops. From this experience, I realized that I would like to build websites and learn more about UX and UI. Before graduating, I aim to have three more great co-op experiences and to be ready for the workforce.
While this is my first ever website, I plan on making a couple more this year. On top of that, I always have wanted to learn to build a video game. I am looking forward to growing and developing more skills over the next few years!
